Is it over for Vicki and Hayden?
To say that Hayden Kho Jr. and Vicki Belo’s relationship has weathered almost insurmountable storms would probably be an understatement, but, could it be that the latter has finally given up?
Around Friday noon, the doctor to the stars posted on her account (@vicki_belo) a tweet that sent the Netizens asking if the couple’s engagement has already been broken off.
“nancycastilogne [sic, Castiglione] you can now openly date @haydenjr . You have my blessings . Hope you'll both be happy,” Belo said.
Apparently, there have been rumors that early this week, Kho was spotted smooching with Castiglione at a bar in Taguig.
Several minutes later, Belo’s fiancé, the controversial Kho posted on his Twitter account (@haydenjr) an admission about their current “misunderstanding.”
“Before things go out of hand: Vicki and I are just having a misunderstanding. Don't make conclusions. There's NO infidelity issue here,” he posted.
Kho, who has been notorious in the industry for his sex scandals immediately asked the Netizens to keep from making judgments based on a lone tweet.
His tweet read: “I'd like to appeal to everyone to please hold your judgment. There has been a misunderstanding and it's gone out of proportion. I feel that the public doesn't have to get involved in this but since names have to be cleared and this issue involves the welfare of two innocent toddlers [Castiglione's children], I will have to speak out my piece, but at the right time. Thank you.”
The clarification
As of press time, the tags “Vicki Belo and Hayden Kho” and” Nancy Castiglione” are among the top trending topics in Twitter Philippines, proving that the couple’s tweets have been seen by a large number of Netizens.
As such, Kho felt compelled to elaborate on the matter via Twitter.
“First off, I'd like to make it very clear that Vicki and I are not fighting because of Nancy,” Kho began.
“I have already apologized to Nancy for getting her name dragged into this minor bump in my relationship w/ Vicki,” he enthused.
According to him, this “minor bump” in their relationship stemmed “not from facts” and also “not from rumors” but from “mindless, loveless and faultfinding” individuals who take advantage of “people who have a disagreement.”
Instead of aggravating the situation, Kho hopes that the Netizens could simply respect what they are going through by not mocking them.
“I understand that some will have d urge to comment in jest or mockery to flame d issue; but I appeal to you to keep your jokes to yourself,” Kho posted.
Lastly, Kho stressed again that “There is NO issue of infidelity here” and that, as a matter of fact, they are “doing very well in our relationship.”
Furthermore, he even doused the brewing issue by professing his “unparalleled” love for Belo.
“And finally, since this is already public, I might as well say this in public- @vicki_belo, I love you. And yes, I love you more than Temple Run. @vicki_belo,” he assured.
