Controversial personality Hayden Kho, Jr. has had to deal with a definitive blow in his career as the Court of Appeals (CA) affirmed the revocation of his professional license by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC).
In a 17-page resolution authored by Associate Justice Edwin Sorongon dated June 29, abs-cbnNEWS.com quoted on Wednesday that the appellate court’s eighth division has scrapped Kho’s appeal to reverse the PRC decision on Aug. 22, 2011 regarding his license, following the administrative case lodged against him.

PRC Releases Teacher Exams Results
The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and the Board for Professional Teachers (BPT) yesterday announced that 13,925 elementary teachers out of 32,798 examinees (42.46 percent), 56 Accelerated Teacher Education Program (ATEP) graduates out of 305 examinees (18.36 percent) and 7,149 secondary teachers out of 28,764 examinees (24.85 percent) successfully passed the Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) given on March 11, 2012 in 12 testing centers nationwide.

Electronics Engineering Exams' Results Bared
The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) Wednesday announced that 1,439 out of 2,687 passed the Electronics Engineer Licensure Examination and 287 out of 345 passed the Electronics Technician Licensure Examination given by the Board of Electronics Engineering in the cities of Manila and Cebu in April 2012.

699 Pass Engineer Licensure Examinations
The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced Tuesday that 650 out of 1,089 passed the Mechanical Engineer Licensure Examination, 26 out of 50 passed the Certified Plant Mechanic Licensure Examination and 23 passed the Technical Evaluation for the Upgrading as Professional Mechanical Engineer given by the Board of Mechanical Engineering in Manila and Cebu this March 2012.

822 Pass Architect Licensure Examination
The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced Friday that 822 out of 1,617 examinees passed the Architect Licensure Examination (ALE) given by the Board of Architecture, headed by its Chairman, Architect Armando N. Alli, with two other members, Architects Angeline T. Chua Chiaco and Marietta Bundalian Segovia. The examination was held in Manila last January 27 and 29.

17 pass 2011 CPA Exam
The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) has announced that 17 out of 128 passed the Certified Public Accountant Licensure Examination given by the Board of Accountancy in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates; Jeddah and Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and in Doha, Qatar last December 2011.

203 pass Mideast architect exam
The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on Wednesday announced that 203 out of 423 passed the Architect Licensure Examination given by the Board of Architecture in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates; Jeddah and Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and in Doha, Qatar in December 2011.

239 pass Dentist Licensure Exams
The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced that 239 out of 601 examinees passed the Dentist Licensure Examination (Written Phase), and 239 out of 246 passed the Dentist Licensure Examination (Practical Phase) given by the Board of Dentistry in Manila in November, 2011, and December, 2011, respectively.
The PRC said the members of the Board of Dentistry include Dr. Melinda L. Garcia as chairman, Dr. Gloria M. Bumanlag, Dr. Steve Mark G. Gan, and Dr. Rannier F. Reyes as members.

211 pass PRC's Librarian exam
The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 211 out of 764 examinees passed the Librarian Licensure Examination given by the Board for Librarians in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cebu, Davao, and Legazpi this November.
The members of the Board for Librarians who gave the licensure examination are Corazon M. Nera, chairman; Arabella M. Ananoria and Mila M. Ramos, members.

PRC bares shortage of professionals
At least 10 industries are now facing severe shortage of professionals due to low number of board examinees, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) said Thursday.
Citing PRC data from the past five years, PRC Commissioner Jennifer Manalili said in a media forum during the signing of a memorandum of agreement that the country in now facing an undersupply in some professions due the low turnout of students taking the needed courses.

PRC: 51 new environmental planners
The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced Thursday that 51 out of 86 passed the Environmental Planner Licensure Examination given by the Board of Environmental Planning in Manila this June 2011.
Registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will start on Tuesday, June 28, 2011 but not later than July 6, 2011.
