Pacquiao Family Enjoys Vacation In Israel

In his quest to learn more about the Bible, boxing champ Manny Pacquiao, his wife Jinky and his children spent a week-long vacation in Israel.

As reported exclusively by Dyan Castillejo on “TV Patrol,” July 18,  Manny ang his family visited the historic places where Jesus Christ set foot. They rode a sailboat to reach the Sea of Galilee where Jesus is believed to have walked, and even visited Jordan River where Jesus Christ was baptized.

The tour guide conducted Bible studies in all of the Pacquiao family’s visits and the video showed them participating in Bible sharing. The family also recalled the story of David and Goliath at the Valley of Elah where, as Dyan reported, David gathered five stones to hit Goliath.

One of the tour’s highlights came when the family went to Jerusalem where Jinky and Manny rode in a camel. Manny’s children, on the other hand, enjoyed the salty waters of the Dead Sea.

Manny considers the trip more than just a respite.

“Hindi lang ito bakasyon lahat, eh. ‘Yung mga napagdaanan ni Jesus Christ [ay binalikan namin],” he told Dyan.

Now in the country, Manny is all agog in preparing for a big prayer meeting at the Araneta Coliseum where he is the main speaker.
