1,913 Pass 2011 Bar Exams

A total of 1,913 law graduates or 31.95 percent of those who actually took the tests passed the 2011 Bar examinations administered by the Supreme Court (SC) in November last year.

In a press briefing, SC Spokesman and Court Administrator Jose Midas P. Marquez said the percentage of those who passed the 2011 bar examinations is the second highest rate since the 32.89 per cent in 2001.

Marquez said the Bar results will be released at 2 p.m. today, February 29.

Justice Roberto A. Abad, chairman of the 2011 Bar examinations committee, said the Office of the Bar Confidant has been tasked to audit manually to check the accuracy of the electronic decoding of the test papers.

Decoding is the process of matching the examination number with the name of the examinee.
