Mayweather defeats Cotto
Floyd Mayweather Jr. won by unanimous decision over Puerto Rican Miguel Cotto to become the new WBA super welterweight champion and remain undefeated (43-0) after their scheduled fight at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The judges scored it 117-111, 117-111, 118-110 all in favor of Mayweather.
