Angeline Quinto lauded for keeping up performance despite slip

Singer Angeline Quinto received praise for continuing her performance in a production number on “ASAP” Sunday despite experiencing what many thought was a dreadfully humiliating fall.
Quinto lost her balance when she stepped on her dress while walking to the center part of the “ASAP” stage singing the Aegis original, “Mahal na Mahal Kita.” The singer was down on all fours but she gracefully stood up and continued singing without missing a beat.
Though some found the incident quite laughable, not a few netizens applauded Quinto’s apparent chutzpah.
@got2bedane said, “I salute Angeline Quinto for being professional,, pag nadapa bangon agad, then prove to everybody how great you are!! Love her so much.”
Fellow ABS CBN talent, Rhap Salazar also shared his two cents on the matter. “The show must go on.. Kahit nadapa, kanta parin si Ms. AngelineQuinto.. Galing,” he said.
Not surprisingly, Twitter users made her among top worldwide trending topics only minutes after the episode.
@ImIvanMarquez crowed about the matter posting, “No. 1 Trending worldwide si Angeline Quinto! I admire you,Angeline.”
@AndrewTungol said, “Sabi na at magte-trending si Angeline Quinto eh. She's very stunning and gorgeous! Nadapa man, birit parin. Very nice.”
@ danielJr added, “Ung Party Pilipinas kelangan mag effort ng boong show para magtrend. Si Angeline Quinto nadapa nagtrend. Go Figure."
Quinto and her management didn’t issue a statement concerning the matter but a Bombo Radyo report said that the singer supposedly cried her heart out backstage after the incident.
