Unsolicited advice pours for KC and Piolo

Despite actor Piolo Pascual’s appeal for the public to just leave him and former girlfriend KC Concepcion be at the moment – this, after Concepcion caused a huge fiasco when she admitted on national TV that they have broken up – two popular disc jockeys still gave the duo unsolicited advice anyway.
“Ang hinihingi ko na lang ay pag-iintindi sa mga tao. Hindi madali ang proseso. Hindi rin madali yung maraming nakaabang, maraming naghihintay at maraming nakikialam. Ang sa akin, hayaan na lang muna kami, especially si Kristina. It's not easy,” Pascual pleaded.
But Papa Jack of 90.7 Love Radio and DJ Chacha of 101.9 Tambayan, self-appointed “love gurus” of the FM dial, couldn’t help but share their two cents on the matter.
According to the two, Pascual and Concepcion should let their pain out.
“Kung nasaktan ka, umiyak ka lang. Kasi kapag may nakikita tayong umiiyak, what we always say is 'Tama na, tama na, huwag ka na umiyak makakalimutan mo rin 'yan.' No. Do the opposite. Umiyak ka nang umiyak, kasi that's the only way, walang shortcut. Hangga't hindi mo naiyak lahat 'yan, the longer the process will be," said Papa Jack in a report on abscbnnews.com.
But DJ Chacha hopes Concepcion would also start looking on the brighter side of things.
“Huwag mo isipin masyado ‘yung puro negative side nung nangyari sa inyo ni Piolo,” she said in the same report. “Kasi lahat ng ito, of course, ang maiisip mo puro negative eh, pero ‘pag okay ka na, mare-realize mo na may lessons kang matututunan from this.”
Both DJs agree that Pascual should do his part to ease his former girlfriend’s heartache.
“Piolo must do what a gentleman must do. Do your part to at least mabawasan man lang 'yung pain,” Papa Jack said.
DJ Chacha assailed Pascual for supposedly laughing off questions alluding to the breakup.
“Sasabihin ko sa kanya, Piolo naman, kapag magpapa-interview Papa P, huwag naman sana tinatawanan 'yung tungkol sa break-up, kasi kung ako 'yung babae, kung ako 'yung ex-girlfriend mo, nakita ko on TV na 'yung tinanong ka ng press regarding our break-up, tapos tatawanan mo, ang sakit no'n for me,” she opined.
TV host Boy Abunda , who interviewed Concepcion for the tell-all, asks the public for sobriety. "Lahat sabihin pa natin na meron tayong alam, but we will never know. We will never know all the details," he said in a interview with PEP.
He hopes people would allow the two the respect they deserve.
"Hindi tayo nasa isang lugar para sabihin, 'Ay, sa timbangan ng kasalanan, mas marami ang kasalanan ni...' Ayoko.”
"I wanna listen. I wanna honor the pain of both."
Director Jose Javier Reyes wrote the following about the matter in his blog: “Nothing blatant was said, but everybody was reading between the lines. A young and beautiful couple broke up. It was not like this was a historic event. There are other, more painful and tragic, stories of love except … that this union came with such business like no other. Show business, that is. Add multimillion peso contracts to the pot. This coupling goes farther than the kilig of romance: This love affair involved investments. When will the charades end … or is this part of an even much larger machinery oiling its wheels?”
Concepcion’s father Gabby, also spoke on the matter.
In a report on "News To Go," the actor said he understands the pain that his daughter is undergoing.
"Maraming challenges sa buhay 'di ba, pero 'yung pinagdadaanan niyang challenge... ewan ko kung mananalo pa siya sa challenge na 'yon," he said.
If anything, he said, she should just learn to let go and move on.
"Life goes on. Let's move forward and forget about the past," he said. "We only learn from the hurt that happens to us."
Comedienne K Brosas, who was with both Pascual and Concepcion for a recent show in Japan, lauded the two for not letting their personal problems affect their performance.
She tweeted, “Kahit ANO pa po ang mga intriga sa kanila jan sa pinas...importante nagbigay SILA ng kasiyahan sa mga kapamilya d2 sa japan. Bilib ako!! :)”
She also updated fans that she and Concepcion enjoyed their short sting in the Land of the Rising Sun. She said she went on a road trip with Concepcion and enjoyed the sights in and around Nagoya.
Still, many thinks she was hinting at the relationship when she re-tweeted this line: “A lie doesn't end a relationship, usually truth does. --wapaaaak! :)”
