Robin turns stalker to Bea during ‘Guns and Roses’ shoot
“I requested for more ‘takes’ in my kissing scenes with Bea (Alonzo)!” Action star Robin Padilla said jokingly.
The directors, Trina Dayrit and Rechie del Carmen however confirmed that there were actually eight takes for one kissing scene of Robin and Bea Alonzo!
The “kissing” revelation was made during the press conference held at the Dolphy Theater at the old ABS-CBN building along Sgt. Esguerra St., Quezon City.
The ABS-CBN TV series on primetime slot, “Guns and Roses,” is dubbed as the “pinaka-astig” Kapamilya show with cast composed of Robin Padilla, Bea Alonzo, Diether Ocampo, Empress and Ejay Falcon. Supporting cast includes Pinky Amador, Nanding Josef, Mark Gil, Liza Lorena, Ketchup Eusebio, Ina Feleo, Gladys Reyes, Justin de Leon, Makisig Morales and Pen Medina.
Still, Bea described Robin as “very much a gentleman, thoughtful and caring, on or off the set!”
“Guns and Roses” is a vengeance story. Abel Marasigan (Robin Padilla) who is determined to hunt and neutralize the killers of his father who was murdered when the protagonist was just 10 years old. In the course of his pursuit for justice or to avenge the death of his father, Abel meets Reign Santana (Bea Alonzo) who has just lost her fiancé in a seemingly accidental shooting. Their tragedies make Abel and Reign become closer to one another.
Meanwhile, Marcus Aguilar (Diether Ocampo) who is conducting the investigation of the accidental shooting of Reign’s boyfriend, falls in love with her, and this presents a problem for both Abel and Reign.
Incidentally, “Guns and Roses” serves as comeback project for Robin (who returns to ABS-CBN) and Bea (who is back on primetime).
Solenn Heussaff is Acquabella endorser
Penshoppe’s new scent collection, Acquabella I Am, was launched recently with Kapuso star Solenn Adea Heussaff as endorser. The launch was emceed by actress and TV personality Julia Clarete who welcomed Penshoppe’s Vice President for Business Development Albert Ong to introduce the face of Acquabella.

Christine also won a brand-new iPAD2 from Acquabella by Penshoppe.
Solenn is the perfect scents endorser, with the many hats she wears – as model, fashion designer, make-up artist, painter, singer and actress.
