533 Pass Medical Technologist Exams


The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced Tuesday that 533 out of 804 passed the Medical Technologist Licensure Examination given by the Board of Medical Technology in the cities of Manila, Baguio and Cebu this month.
The members of the Board of Medical Technology who gave the licensure examination are Dr. Marietta C. Baccay, Chairman; Marilyn R. Atienza and Marian M. Tantingco, Members.
The results were released in three working days from the last day of examination.

Registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will start on March 26, 2012 but not later than April 4, 2012. Those who will register are required to bring the following: duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal, current Community Tax Certificate (cedula), 2 pieces passport size picture (colored with white background and complete name tag), 1 piece 1” x 1” picture (colored with white background and complete name tag), 2 sets of metered documentary stamps and 1 short brown envelope with name and profession and to pay the Initial Registration Fee of P600 and Annual Registration Fee of P450 for 2012-2015. Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
The successful examinees in the March 2012 Medical Technologist Licensure Examination who garnered the 10 highest places are the following:

6. Franz Lenard Dayag Barreto, Remedios T. Romualdez Medical Foundation, 87.80;
7. Abigail Mayled Laus, Angeles University Foundation, 87.70;
8. Kathlene Joy Layug Labrador, Far Eastern University-Nicanor Reyes Medical Foundation, 87.60;
9. Glaselle Joy Murcia Bendol, Notre Dame Of Marbel University, 87.40;
10. Shannen Kaye Bumalay Apolinario, Adventist University of the Philippines, 87.30;
