All About Dogs

One can picture happiness with a happy, contented family. Yet some families are never complete without a happy, healthy dog. And count these dogs of my sister Alice. A dog in a family conveys a sense of warmth and shelter, of protection, of being well fed and not to mention, an acceptance of a major responsibility. Dog and man have moved together down the centuries.

Dogs have served as scouts, as messengers and as members of medical teams. They fought by the side of soldiers in ancient armies. Beyond all these, the dog has been man's constant companion, filling him with ultimate happiness and joy. Not so long ago the dog scavenged for food and roamed the streets. Today, the dog has a home. He belongs to a family.

My sister has at least 10 dogs in the past, and I have seen how she took care of her dogs. I came to understand and accept the fact that dogs do not need lots and lots of care. And the most important thing of all - love. From the day your puppy opens its eyed to see the world, a big responsibility awaits you. Raising a puppy, perhaps, would be the last thing a normal human being would want to do, considering that its connected with the words difficulty and nuissance. Actually, if you would consider it very carefully, it's more of a challenge rather than a difficult task. It is an exciting experience in fact which anybody will enjoy and learn, though sometimes it really needs a whole bunch of patience. Dog raising will never be fun without its own natural bloopers.

During the course of your task. you will slowly learn to share your love with your pet, and foster a special bond which you and the dog will live with forever.
