Kris Readies Self For First Official Malacañang Duty

Presidential sister Kris Aquino is set to meet with Rosmah Binti Mansor, wife of Malaysian Prime Minister Abdul Razak, on Monday.
Aquino herself relayed the news to her followers on Saturday via popular social media site Twitter.
"Researching about Malaysia today. 1st time to do official duty in Malacañang on Monday. Will join arrival ceremony & have high tea w/ the Prime Minister's wife," Aquino posted.
She went on to explain that she was actually the third choice for the role; it turned out her older sisters were preoccupied with other pressing matters.

"Ate [Ballsy] normally does this but she's abroad & Pinky's taking care of her hubby Manolo [who is] recovering from heart surgery," Aquino said.
Answering a query from a follower, Aquino related that she will be briefed on protocol relating to the meeting on Sunday.
"Will also fit my Randy Ortiz conservative Filipiniana," she added.
Rosmah is known for her charitable efforts in advancing child education and development in her country.
Aside from being Acting President of BAKTI, the Welfare Association of Minister’s Wives, Rosmah is a noted patron of several organizations including the Children in Hope Foundation, Heart to Heart Association of Malaysia, the Persatuan Warga Cinta Negara Malaysia and the Thalesemia Association of Malaysia.
Prime Minister Razak's visit coincides with the signing of the framework of agreement between the Philippine government and the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF).
Occurring after more than four decades of conflict, the historic meeting will be attended by a number of foreign dignitaries including Turkey's Ekmeleddin İhsanoğlu, incumbent secretary general of the Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC).
