699 Pass Engineer Licensure Examinations


The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced Tuesday that 650 out of 1,089 passed the Mechanical Engineer Licensure Examination, 26 out of 50 passed the Certified Plant Mechanic Licensure Examination and 23 passed the Technical Evaluation for the Upgrading as Professional Mechanical Engineer given by the Board of Mechanical Engineering in Manila and Cebu this March 2012.
The members of the Board of Mechanical Engineering who gave the licensure examinations are Engr. Leandro A. Conti, Officer-In-Charge and Engr. Vicente B. Vosotros, Member.

The results were released in two working days after the last day of examinations.
Registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will start on March 22, 2012 but not later than April 13, 2012. Those who will register are required to bring the following: duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal, current Community Tax Certificate (cedula), 2 pieces passport size picture (colored with white background and complete nametag), 1 piece 1” x 1” picture (colored with white background and complete nametag), 2 sets of metered documentary stamps and 1 short brown envelope with name and profession and to pay the Initial Registration Fee of R600 and Annual Registration Fee of R450 for 2012-2015 for Mechanical Engineer; Initial Registration Fee of R450 and Annual Registration Fee of R420 for 2012-2015 for Certified Plant Mechanic. Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
The successful examinees in the March 2012 Mechanical Engineer Licensure Examination who garnered the 10 highest places are the following:

5. Cabrini Vicada Romarate, University of Cebu, 91.05;
6. Katherine Noel Nadela, University of Cebu, 89.95;
7. Kenneth Celemin Matira, Batangas State University-Batangas City, 89.30;
8. Adrian Dimailig Untalan, Batangas State University-Batangas City, 89.25;
9. Jeffrey Semblante Olofernes, University of Cebu, 89.05;
10. Jose Neil Aniban Salve, University of Cebu, 89.00
