25 dead, 100 missing in Compostela Valley landslide


 At least 25 people died while more than 100 people were reported missing when a landslide swept a residential area of small-scale miners in Pantukan town in Compostela Valley a regional police official said Thursday.
Chief Supt. Jaime Morente, director of the Southern Mindanao regional police, said the landslides buried more than 50 houses in two sub-villages in Barangay Napnapan at around 3:30 a.m.
