Another K-pop star admits using marijuana, apologizes

Another K-pop singer has fallen into the marijuana trap, this time a member of hip hop group Supreme Team.
Supreme Team member E-Sens (real name Kang Minho) revealed in a press conference that he smoked marijuana several times in the past year.
His admission came after he was busted by the Korean police on Nov. 2 for using marijuana.  He will be prosecuted.
As a result, E-Sens will suspend all his activities indefinitely. He asked forgiveness from the public.
“While E-Sens did smoke pot, he did not engage any other musicians or agency employees with him. Along with his friends, E-Sens will be sent to prosecutors in the coming days. This press conference was held to admit his misdeeds and to ask for public forgiveness. First, he will have to be penalized, but we will support him in the future when he returns,” his agency said, according to fan forum Soompi.com.
E-Sens debuted in Supreme Team along with Simon D in 2009.
E-Sens’ case follows the admission last month of G-Dragon, leader of boy band Big Bang, that he smoked marijuana.
G-Dragon tested positive for marijuana use during a hair drug examination.
However, authorities did not charge him since only a small amount of the illegal drug was found in his body.
G-Dragon is currently on unofficial hiatus. Big Bang fans have expressed their support to G-Dragon.
Big Bang is nominated in the MTV Europe Music Awards Worldwide Act category and is up against Britney Spears and other artists.
The boy band also snagged several nominations in the Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA).
