Angeline receives 2nd necklace from Coco

When someone gives you flowers, it may mean something; when once receives a ring, it definitely means so much more. But what does it mean to be on the receiving end of a necklace with a crucifix pendant?
Perhaps Coco Martin was only responding to Angeline Quinto’s declaration that she would not change her religion for him—whom the newbie singer declared to be her showbiz crush—and giving a trinket with a very Catholic symbolism is the best way he knows how.
"Opo, may kuwintas po ulit, may cross po. Medyo malaki, silver po pero wala pong diamond," Quinto said in an interview on “Kris TV” on Monday, describing the gift she received from Martin.
Recall that the “Star Power” champ already received a cross necklace from Martin as a birthday gift during her first solo concert last July 15.
Martin seems to have stepped up the gift-giving since then, as Quinto also shares, "Tapos [ngayon] may box ng chocolate. Hindi nga ako mahilig sa chocolate, ‘di ko alam kung bakit ako binigyan. Tapos may box po ng lotion at pabango," she added.
Martin supposedly got those gifts abroad as he just recently got back from The Teleserye Royals 2011 US Tour with his “Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin” co-star Maja Salvador, “Reputasyon” star Jason Abalos, former “Mara Clara” stars Julia Montes and Kathryn Bernardo with comedian Chokoleit, actor Jake Cuenca and “Pilipinas Got Talent” season 1 champ, Jovit Baldivino.
Quinto is currently working with Martin in her first ever film titled “You Light Up My Life.” The singer who was known for being enamored with Martin has nothing but good words for her co-star.
"Sobra po nakakatuwa lang kasi tuwing magkasama kami sa shooting ay hindi ako pinababayaan ni Coco," she said.
Meanwhile, aside from gifts, Quinto found herself showered with recognitions recently. Last Sunday, Quinto bagged two awards at the third Philippine Movie Press Club (PMPC) Music Awards held at the Henry Lee Irwin Theater of the Ateneo de Manila University.
She won the New Female Recording Artist of the Year award and the Song of the Year award for her song "Patuloy ang Pangarap."
Her so-called “rival,” Pop Star Princess Sarah Geronimo, who beat her in "Star For A Night" in 2002, won the Female Recording Artist of the Year award.
