Hottest Women of 2011

Most of these women are very smart. Many are successful. All are smokin’ hot—and that was our only criteria. Behold: This year’s lust list.

1. Kelly Rowland
It's hard not to see Rowland as the chick in Destiny's Child who isn't Beyoncé, and even harder to make that sound like it isn't a searing insult. Truth is, if you like your beauty with its high-heeled feet a little closer to the ground, Rowland—reinventing herself something fierce with a new, uptempo album and a sweet-spot gig judging next season's X Factor—is most definitely your girl.

2. Kaitlin Olson
One television critic put it best: "beauty meets bawdy." On Curb Your Enthusiasm, The Drew Carey Show, and It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Olson's always kept us laughing just hard enough that we never stop to feel bad about it. And for that, we're eternally grateful.

3.  Paris Hilton
You can call her a punchline, but on not much more than a deliciously lean figure, a royals entitlement, an indelible balance of doe and vixen, and sheer willpower, Hilton has stamped herself forever in our consciousness—for better or worse.

4. Rose Byrne
Brad Pitt, Heath Ledger, Nicolas Cage, Russell Brand, James McAvoy...Byrne certainly has colorful taste in leading men, and a spellbinding gift for transfixing audiences with quirky film choices, from X-Men: First Class to Marie Antoinette, Bridesmaids to Damages. Whatever she's in, we yearn for Byrne.

5.  Lady Gaga
Usually, the combination of raw meat, wheelchairs, and egg-shaped spacecraft leaves us only a little curious, if quite possibly a little nauseous. Yet when Lady Gaga employs such madness, matched with an apparently evergreen dominatrix routine patented by Madonna, we kind of dig it. Makes us suspect maybe—just maybe—this chick might be more dangerous than we are.
