Beyonce is Pregnant
Beyonce confirmed her pregnancy on the MTV Video Music Awards black carpet this evening.
Photos of the pop star embracing a baby bump circulated on Twitter during the VMA pre-awards show, and were then followed by a tweet from MTV: “OMG Beyonce just made a huge announcement on the #vma carpet! #baby!!!!”
This will be the first child for hip-hop power couple Beyonce and husband Jay-Z, who got married in 2008.
Beyonce’s fans were seemingly pleased, based on the congratulatory tweets that accompanied the news. Even more pleased? MTV, who can now boast that this major celebrity story broke at the VMAs.
