Why Gals have tough time losing weight?

Women find it much more difficult than men to lose weight and its not because they lack will power – it’s because they are padded with an extra layer of fat, says an obesity specialists.

Nature has made it much tougher for a woman to lose weight than a man because they possess an extra layer of fat designed to protect the unborn baby once a woman gets pregnant.

This layer of fat remains in place whether they ever become pregnant or not. It appears during early adolescence. It’s not until she gets much older – as much as 10 years past the menopause – that this layer of fat will begin to recede.
