3 Filipino Teachers Shine in Microsoft Forum
Three Filipino teachers marked a first in the history of the Microsoft Partners in Learning Regional Education Forum, winning in several categories while besting 60 other mentors in the Asia-Pacific region.
Shaleen Seraña of Tuan Datu Hadji Abdulla Niño Memorial High School in Zamboanga was hailed the country winner for her project “Mangrove Planting.” While Edalyn Olis of Lala National High School in Lanao del Norte won in the Innovation in Challenging Contexts Category for her “E-dokyo Ito” project and Estelito Mendoza of Baguio National High School was a runner-up for his project, “Learning Beyond the Classroom and Make A Difference.”
