Your Cell Phone Is Dirtier Than a Toilet

According to Time, UK researchers swabbed 390 cellphones, along with the hands that used them, and they found that 16 percent of both were contaminated with E. coli bacteria. Which, unfortunately, comes from poop. The study also found that 92 percent of hands and 82 percent of mobile phones were contaminated by some sort of bacteria, including Staphylococcus aureus

A man married his pillow !

A Korean man named Lee Jin-gyu fell in love with a life-sized Japanese body pillow called a “dakimakura”. The pillow has the image of a cartoon character named Fate Testarossa on it, from an anime called Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha. The 28-year-old man takes his pillow with him everywhere and eventually got married to it.

The Youngest Mother to ever Give Birth was 5 Years Old

Lina Medina (born September 27, 1933, in Ticrapo, Huancavelica Region, Peru) is the youngest confirmed mother in medical history, giving birth at the age of five years, seven months and 21 days.

Born in Ticrapo, Peru, Medina was brought to a hospital by her parents at the age of five years due to increasing abdominal size. She was originally thought to have had a tumor, but her doctors determined she was in her seventh month of pregnancy.

Electric shock can make you better at mathematics

A small, one milliamp current (not enough to be felt) to the parietal lobe of the brain is enough to significantly improve the performance of test subjects on mathematical puzzles for up to 6 months. Oxford scientists looking for a way to treat dyscalculia (like dyslexia, but with numbers) performed these experiments and reported their findings to Current Biology.

The new Merriam-Webster’s U.S. dictionary added “bromance” and “cougar”

“Bromance”, as we all know, is the “close, nonsexual friendship between men”. While “cougar” was already listed in the dictionary as a type of cat, it now has a new definition, “middle-aged woman seeking a romantic relationship with a younger man”.

Shaq is nearly 2 feet taller than his girlfriend!

It’s pretty clear from the picture, but you could probably fit Shaquille O’Neal’s little lady inside his massive frame three times over. At a height of 7’1” and weighing in at over 300 pounds, the Big Diesel is thrice as heavy and almost two feet taller than Nicole “Hoopz” Alexander! Other than being able to fit in the palm of the former NBA star's hand, Alexander is best known for winning each of the first seasons of the VH1 reality shows Flavor of Love and I Love Money. The 5’2”, 100 pound cutie has been dating the Big Aristotle for nearly a year, which just goes to show - love comes in ALL shapes and sizes!
