P8.5-M Subsidy For 17 Schools
Half a million pesos from the Department of Education (DepEd) awaits selected public high schools in the country that continue to support and train athletes to represent the country in various local and international competitions.
DepEd Secretary Armin Luistro said that the DepEd has earmarked P8.5 million as subsidy to the 17 regional schools that offer a special program in sports to enable them to effectively deliver services to student athletes who will one day stand out in competitions here and abroad.
