Pauleen Luna dispels pregnancy rumors

Young TV host Pauleen Luna blasted reports that she’s pregnant which arose after fainting during the “Juan for All, All for Juan” segment of “Eat Bulaga” in Davao last Feb. 13.
“Hindi po ako buntis,” came Pauleen’s denial on “Showbiz Central” on Feb. 19.
Speculations that she was in an interesting stage spread like wildfire when “EB” host Vic Sotto asked on air, “Hindi ba naghahanap ng maasim o ano?”
Vic, for months now, has been romantically linked with Pauleen, although no confirmation from either side has surfaced.

Regarding the joke, Pauleen thinks that, “Bossing is just making things lighter kasi, of course, the whole studio was panicking, sila lahat. Even sa remote lahat nagpa-panic.”
The TV host-actress says there’s no need to worry because “may history po ako na hinihimatay. It’s not the first time.”
She recalled what transpired on that fateful Valentine’s Day eve.
“Nu’ng may tinawagan na sina Bossing at palakad na kami sa contestant [ay] wala na akong naintindihan. Umiikot na talaga ang paningin ko. Tapos tumatawa sila, nakikitawa na lang ako,” Pauleen recalled.
Not about to spoil the fun during the segment, the TV host still went on with her stint.
“I didn’t wanna naman…ayoko namang mag-inarte just because nahihilo ako. ‘Pag about face, parang gumagano’n gano’n na ako talaga [motioning a circular movement in the air]. Biglang parang isang mabilis, wala na ako talaga, blackout.”
Pauleen was thankful that co-host Allan K was beside her when she fell.
“Nakatabi ako kay Allan K. Buti na lang kumapit ako kasi kung hindi I’ll fall flat on my face. Eto lang ang nakuha ko, konting gasgas lang [showing off her arms].”
The young TV host explained that she fainted due to “a mix of puyat, dehydration, gutom and the heat.”
After she felt unconscious, “they first brought me to a house,” she shared.
“Tapos I was unconscious daw for about for about four to five minutes. Actually, when I woke up nakataas na ‘yung paa ko coz’ they were about to bite na may toe kasi hindi ako magising. Sa hospital, when they took my BP [blood pressure] it was 90 over 60. Nag-rest ako sa hospital and then sa hotel na.”
That aside, Pauleen was also asked how she celebrated Valentine’s Day.
“I was still there in Davao. I don’t believe in Valentine’s. I mean, if you have a special someone everyday should be that day and it’s not an exception.”
After her taped interview, “SC” host Pia Guanio shared how surprised they were when Pauleen fainted.
“Siyempre we were shocked. It was very quick, eh. ‘Yung shot was very quick. Of course, lahat ng tao nakatutok sa ‘Juan for all, All for Juan,’” she recalled.
She added,  “When Pauleen lost consciousness tapos biglang napakita sa TV that very brief moment, parang for a while you’re sort of in denial about it. Parang hindi mo maintindihan. ‘Ano ba ang nangyari do’n? Hinimatay ba ‘yung babaeng ‘yon?’ True enough, she did lose consciousness.”
She volunteered some information that seemed to back up Pauleen’s claim why she lost consciousness.
“Apparently, she was up early kasi tapos hindi na siya gaanong nakatulog.   Hindi na siya gaanong nakakain. Hindi kasi kumakain ng gulay ‘yang babaeng ‘yan, eh. I think puro gulay ‘yung hinanda sa kanila when they got to Davao. She wasn’t able to eat much. With the heat, with the fatigue, ayun na, hinimatay na [siya].”
