Drug-Free Home Stickers Mulled

Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) Secretary Jesse M. Robredo is mulling the implementation of drug-free home campaign stickers nationwide to help control the growing trade of illegal drugs.
According to Robredo, the campaign would have the public posting “This is a drug free home” stickers on their gates or doors to signify their “commitment” against drugs.

Those without, on the other hand, would mean that homeowners are either uncooperative with the government’s anti-drug campaign, or are indeed drug users.
“It wouldn’t be fair to say that homes without stickers are already guilty of drugs; it wouldn’t be fair, although you could make your own conclusion,” said Robredo.
He explained that undergoing drug-testing with the government is voluntary and confidential.
