Grace Lee Coy On PNoy Date

Following reports on her rumored “date” with President Benigno S. Aquino III, Korean television and radio host Grace Lee said Friday she will leave it to the Chief Executive to speak on the matter.
“He (President Aquino) has my highest respect so I think that it’s better that I leave it to the President to speak on the matter,” Lee said in the noontime television news program “Balitanghali” aired at GMA News TV where she is one of the news anchors.
She said she has not released any official statement yet on the matter and will only talk about it when there is a need for clarification.

“Wala pa akong nirerelease na (I have not yet released a) statement spoken of him publicly yet. So I think that’s the best thing to do now,” Lee said.
In her Twitter account Friday, Lee made some clarifications on the reports of her alleged “date” with the President.
“I never said we dated. Nor did I say we are textmates. Nor that he comes to visit me,” she said in her Twitter account.
The Palace, meanwhile, has kept mum on the issue, saying that it does not comment on private matters concerning the President.
The President himself, prodded by reporters on the issue, just smiled and invited the media to have a tour with him at the New Bilibid Prisons (NBP) in Muntinlupa City where he attended the launching of the Bureau of Corrections (BuCor)'s 2012 Road Map and Stakeholders' Fellowship program Friday afternoon.
Radio disc jockey DJ Mo Twister earlier revealed in his Twitter account that he was able to make Grace Lee squeal on her “date” with the Chief Executive.
It will be recalled that President Aquino and Grace Lee met in an event in Cebu City last year. Lee was the event’s emcee and the President acknowledged Lee as “gwapa” (beautiful) before he made his speech.
Several women have been linked to the President when he came into office, starting off with his former girlfriend, Valenzuela Councilor Shalani Soledad, who is now married to Pasig Rep. Roman Romulo; stylist Liz Uy, stock broker Len Lopez, and teacher Bunny Calica.
Aquino has also been matched with Thai Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra, who visited the Philippines last week, but the President dismissed the idea.
