Kuya Germs clarifies Shaina-John Lloyd reconciliation rumor

Star builder German Moreno belied talk that Shaina Magdayao and boyfriend John Lloyd Cruz have gotten back together.

Apparently, the rumor began after the couple was spotted attending together the Rachelle Ann Go and Erik Santos-starrer “Little Mermaid” and a concert by Jed Madela recently. Recall that just a few weeks earlier, the two admitted in separate interviews with “The Buzz” and ABS-CBN News to working things out in their relationship following Magdayao’s latest SMS/Twitter issue with Cruz’s ex Ruffa Gutierrez.

In an interview with PEP posted on Nov. 29, Moreno said he immediately called up Magdayao to clarify the report.

“Tinawagan ko kaagad si Shaina para itanong kung totoo bang nakitang magkasama na naman sila at kung nagkabalikan na sila [ni John Lloyd]. Sabi sa akin ni Shaina, totoo nga daw na nagkasama sila, pero hindi lang naman daw sila.

"Marami daw sila na puro taga-ABS-CBN dahil may invitation sila na manonood ng 'Little Mermaid.' Pero hindi naman daw porke't sabay silang nanonood, e, may balikan na daw na nagaganap, dahil wala naman daw talaga. Yun ang sabi ni Shaina,” he explained.

The TV/radio show host added that the actress told him about Cruz exerting effort to win her back, “pero hindi naman daw kasi ganun kabilis yun na okey na sila kaagad” because she wants to feel his sincerity.

“Katulad ng sabi noon ni Shaina, hindi naman niya sinasarado yung posibilidad na maging okey sila ulit ni John Lloyd, lalo na't pag nakita nito na nagbago na si John Lloyd. Pero hindi pa raw ngayon yun,” Moreno said.

He continued, “Bahala na raw ang panahon...kung magiging okey sila ulit, yun ang mangyayari. Pero kung hindi, hindi talaga sila para sa isa't isa.”

More, Moreno opined that there’s nothing wrong with the couple being seen together after their latest relationship woe because they talked to each other properly before temporarily parting ways.

“Pansamantalang naghiwalay man ang kanilang landas, hindi naman nangangahulugang kailangang mag-away na sila o magkagalit sa isa't isa,” he told PEP.
