Raymart Santiago Reacts On Second Video Of NAIA Incident

Kapuso actor Raymart Santiago feels that the second video of the much ballyhooed NAIA brawl, which surfaced recently, is not what it all seems.
The new video seemingly shows that Raymart’s camp started the fight, as a man in pink—believed to be a friend of the couple’s—is seen hitting veteran columnist and broadcaster Ramon Tulfo on the head using his left arm. But according to Raymart, this scenario still isn’t the first part of the fracas.
Bale may first part pa ‘yan, ‘yung una niya akong sinuntok at sinipa tapos nagkaroon ng awatan,” Santiago explained on “Showbiz Central,” May 27.

He shared, “That was the video ‘yung dulong part ng first part, ‘yung bago sinipa si Claudine.”
On speculations that it was actually his camp that hit Tulfo first, Santiago reiterated his earlier statement.
‘Yan ‘yung dulo ng first part. ‘Yung first part kasi ‘yun ‘yung tinulak niya ako at sinipa niya ako.
He then explained what transpired as the video caught a man hitting Tulfo on the head.
So ‘yung camera niya from behind; sumapaw ‘yon, hindi tumama.
Santiago is clueless as to where the second video has come from.
The Kapuso actor stressed that, “‘Yung video na nawawala [ay] ‘yung nasa gitna niyan at saka ‘yung first part.”
He also added, “So inilabas na lang nila ‘yon. Mahirap kasi parang pinutol-putol nila, eh, parang in-edit nila.
Barretto’s better half again asked for help from people who may have the complete video of what happened.
Admitting “wala kaming hawak na video ngayon,” Santiago stands firm on his earlier statement that it was Tulfo that hit him first.
Atty. Alex Avisado, the couple’s legal counsel, also released a statement regarding the second video.
“At this point we can only reiterate what we said earlier. We cannot form conclusions based on mere seconds of footage, which represents fragments of the true story.”
He believes, “It is important to bear in mind how simple editing or sequencing can easily mislead us.”
“The case is before the proper courts which will undoubtedly base their decisions on the ENTIRE turn of events.”
Claudine’s reaction on second video
Barretto, Santiago shared, is disappointed that second purportedly edited video has surfaced.
For the most part, the couple had already been thankful about the progress of their case, especially with the issuance of the temporary protection order [TPO] against the Tulfo brothers Erwin, Ben and Raffy, after the three had purportedly made threats against them in their show, “T3 Kapatid Sagot Kita,” the day after NAIA brawl.
The surfacing of this new video may have dampened their mood a little but the couple is still hoping they the truth will prevail.
