Kris' wish for PNoy

Controversial talk show host and actress Kris Aquino has only one wish in 2012 for her big brother, the president of the land, Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino—for him to finally find a “partner.”

In an interview with “The Buzz,” held during the turnover of donations from the United Nations High Commission for Refugees for people displaced by Tropical Storm Sendong in Cagayan de Oro and Iligan cities, Aquino said that, “Sana meron na talagang totoong mag-aalaga at magmamahal sa kapatid ko.”

But perhaps recalling how her brother once admonished her for talking about his private life, she swiftly added, “…na pinapangako ko sa kanya hindi ko pakikialaman.”

Only a few months ago, the president admitted that only a “miracle” could alter his “loveless” status come Christmas time. He reiterated the same during a recent Bulong Pulungan forum saying, “The reference to Coke Zero is still the same.”

The President is, of course, referring to his earlier statement wherein he likened his love life to “Coke Zero,’’ the sugarless variant of a popular soft drink.

PNoy’s love life became tabloid fodder for much of 2011 – since he separated from longtime sweetheart Shalani Soledad right after he got elected into office. His name was even linked to several celebrities including stylist Liz Uy, TV host Grace Lee and actress, Iza Calzado.

But the President was quick to laugh off speculations concerning his alleged romantic escapades. He went on to lament that media scrutiny doesn’t augur well for his chances inasmuch as it only serves to scare away his prospects.
