Ballistics and autopsy exams on Tyron Perez case completed

The head of the investigating team that is working to find the cause of actor Tyron Perez’ death has revealed that they are almost done with their work.
Senior Inspector Arthur Quiñonez of the Valenzuela Police Station confirmed in a report on Bombo Radyo that they already received copies of the results of both ballistic and autopsy examinations. According to the officer, the autopsy revealed that Perez succumbed to a lone gunshot wound in the head, particularly on his right temple.
The gun in question he said is a collector’s edition .22 caliber handgun.
"Caliber .22 North American Arms Homemade revolver ang description. Wala po itong serial number," Quiñonez specified.
Ownership of the unlicensed gun is yet to be determined, he said.
Police are now waiting for the paraffin test to determine if Perez fired the gun that killed him -- and the digital forensic examination, which involves the inspection of the victim’s mobile phone.
According to the victim’s wife, Liv, her husband called her up using his mobile the morning of Dec. 29. Perez’ dead body was found that same night.
Quiñonez said that until they completed all necessary studies, they would not yet conclude that it was indeed death by suicide.
Actor Gardo Versoza, meanwhile, expressed, in a separate interview with PEP, that he didn’t think his former co-star in the series “Kung Mahawi Man Ang Ulap” would actually kill himself, saying that, as far as he is concerned, the young man was firm in bettering himself as an actor.
"Kaya parang nagwa-one-on-one workshops kami,” said he.
Versoza related that the last time he spoke with Perez, the latter was even excited in informing him of an upcoming project with ABS-CBN, in which he would be playing the role of a bad guy.
