Brother's involvement shocks Revilla family

The family of Sen. Ramon Revilla Jr. expressed shock with sadness over the alleged involvement of the brother of Ramgen Jose Bautista in the murder case in Paranaque City last week.
“Our family is as shocked as everyone. Nabigla din po kami sa kinalabasan ng imbestigasyon sa pagkamatay ng aming kapatid na si Ramgen, at ngayon naman ang pagkakasangkot ng tunay na kapatid ni Ramgen at half-brother din namin na si Joseph,” the senator said in a statement.
(We were saddened on the sudden turn out of the investigation on the death of our brother, Ramgen, and now the involvement of Ramgen’s brother and our half-brother, Joseph.)
Revilla lamented that the shocking revelation was uncovered even as the family is still grieving for the tragic death of Ramgen.
“Hindi pa man naililibing ang isa, isinasangkot naman ang isa pa. This is a tragic death made even more tragic by the fact that a family member is being implicated,” said the senator, who offered P500,000 to anybody who could provide the police information that leads to the arrest of the suspects.
Ram Revilla, whose real name was Ramgen Jose Bautista, and his girlfriend Janelle Manahan were attacked at Ram’s home on President Avenue at Phase 6A, BF Homes, Paranaque City.  Ram died due to multiple stab wounds while Manahan survived the attack.
This developed as former Senator Ramon Revilla Sr. is now stable after being rushed to the hospital Tuesday, after his son Joseph was questioned by the police for the death of elder brother Ram.
In a report aired over GMA News TV’s “Quick Response Team,” Revilla Sr. was taken to the St. Luke’s Medical Center in Taguig City Tuesday. The report did not say what happened to the former senator but that he is now in stable condition.
