Singers named 'PGT' champ anew
Southern Leyte’s Maasinhon Trio won "Pilipinas Got Talent Season 3" Oct. 23, taking home the grand prize of P2 million in cash.
The winning piece of Bonifacio Salubre, Licinio Lolo and Andrew Sanchez was a version of Basil Valdez’s “Nais Ko,” which wowed the judges Ai Ai delas Alas, Kris Aquino and Freddie M. Garcia as well as the audience during Saturday’s grand showdown. They were declared victors ahead of Davao del Sur’s Bringas brothers and Parañaque City’s heartthrob Khalil Joseph Ramos, who each received P100,000.
Performing with the contestants during the "PGT 3" finals were Christian Bautista, Jed Madela and Nina, as well as Gary Valenciano and his son, Paolo, Kamikazee and “PGT Season 2” grand winner Marcelito Pomoy. "PGT: hosts Billy Crawford and Luis Manzano joined in on the act and showed off their dancing skills in their own numbers.
