Pacquiao adds $225,000 Ferrari to his car fleet
Manny Pacquiao has a new baby.
The Filipino boxing star recently purchased a brand-new $225,000 Ferrari 458 Italia, an Italian-made supercar that is powered by a 570-horsepower 4.5-liter V8 engine that can reach zero to sixty miles in a mere 3.4 seconds.
The gray-colored 458 Italia, according to noted orthodontist Ed Dela Vega, who customizes the boxer’s mouthguard, is now parked at Pacquiao’s apartment unit at The Palazzo in the trendy La Brea area of Los Angeles.
One of the world’s highest-earning athletes, Pacquiao is guaranteed a purse of more than $20 million in this rubber match with the 38-year-old Marquez.
Aside from that hefty paycheck, Pacquiao also has a share in the pay-per-view revenue, live attendance receipts, TV rights and closed circuit viewing.
The Ferrari is one of many vehicles that Pacquiao has bought through the years.
When he is in the country attending to his congressional duties, Pacquiao gets around on board a black Escalade and escorted by a few SUVs.
Pacquiao also has a fleet of cars, pickups and SUVs, including a Porsche Cayenne that he brought from the US, in General Santos City.
In the US, Pacquiao has a Lincoln Navigator and a Toyota Landcruiser that was given to him by Toyota Glendale dealership last year.
For somebody who used to drive around on a beatup Toyota Corolla, Pacquiao has certainly come a long way.
