Avoiding Air Pollution

Air pollution in simple terminology is bad for the environment and one of the main problems currently ruining the planet. The annoying facts however are that it could be reduced dramatically by making some changes to everyday activities and lifestyles. Look at dust for example, its extremely common, dangerous, and can be avoided by cleaning and being more cautious.

Particles can also be released from the earths natural atmosphere such as volcanoes, fires and other sources this can’t be stopped only helped when events occur. Transportation is a major factor in pollution so if the opportunity arises to walk or cycle then take it. The fuel released from cars, buses and airplanes is very toxic so always take the Eco choice if available.

Don’t neglect the waste. Some careful consideration with what objects can be disposed and re-used should always come first. Recyclable bags paper or plastic will always come in handy around the house. It is also essential to choose green friendly items when out doing the weekly shop, and never forget to separate your garbage into the correct bins.

As important as it is to protect the planet it doesn’t mean you have to neglect your own health. Avoid being out and about on smoggy days with bad air surrounding the atmosphere. This is especially true for young children. Smoking is also a big no no not only for your own lungs but for the planet in itself. Cigarette smoke can remain stuck in the air and effect those who don’t smoke. Be fair cut out the butts, be healthy and think green!
