Regine announces baby’s gender: ‘Boy!’
Regine Velasquez-Alcasid, who is now five months pregnant, has announced on “Party Pilipinas” the gender of her and Ogie Alcasid’s baby: “We’re having a boy!”
Although on leave, Regine dropped by the show’s studio last July 3 to accompany her husband who wasn’t feeling well. She was then seen watching Ogie’s OPM production number with Janno Gibbs, Jolina Magdangal, Jennylyn Mercado, Glaiza de Castro, and Janine Gutierrez.
After the segment, Ogie and Janno reached out to Regine who was hesitant to appear on TV describing herself as “kalabaw.”
What followed was the much-anticipated announcement of the baby’s gender. Ogie also shared that the news came the day before when he accompanied Regine for an ultrasound and glad that they saw an “extension” of the baby.
When Janno asked what name they will give their baby, Regine answered: Timothy Joseph. As if making fun of the baby’s would-be initials TJ, Ogie said he likes JT more, as in James Taylor.
Ogie already has two daughters, Sarah and Leila with former wife Michelle Van Eimeren.
