Jessica Sanchez’s Mom Answers Charice’s Manager’s Comments


Editha Bugay has defended her daughter Jessica Sanchez against the deemed swipe that Charice’s manager, Courtney Blooding, made against the "American Idol" finalist.
In a recent tweet, Blooding questioned Filipino’s adulation of  Jessica as part of Pinoy pride, pointing out that the latter does not even have Filipino citizenship.

Charice On Her Newest Tattoo, ‘X-Factor Philippines’ And Mo Twister


International singing sensation Charice has changed her look drastically and she’s proud of it.
“I’m extremely happy. Unbelievable! Like I could cry!  Showing my tattoos, showing my hair, showing my outfit, I feel more free,” Charice said on “TV Patrol,” May 14.
The singer's latest tattoo was done in Los Angeles and reads, “I never knew true love until someone broke my heart.”

Charice's 'new image' sparks debates online


Gone is the long-haired, preppy Charice who graced the cover of a fashion magazine last January and in its place is a different image "persona" that had sent Netizens buzzing.
 
Shocking the public with her blonde, short hairdo with matching tattoo on one her wrists, the international singing sensation returned to the country on March 8 for her “Infinity Tour” concert.

Filipino international singer Charice is apparently immune to criticisms as she coolly addressed the negative feedback she got over her much talked-about and alleged heavily edited magazine cover.
“Kelan ba ‘ko naging maganda sa mga haters? So I guess it’s normal for them and for me. Nung nakita ko sabi ko, ‘Diyos ko, ano ba naman ‘to? Ano ba’ng gagawin ko? Ano’ng isasagot ko?’

Charice reacts on Twitter after father's death


Charice is out of the country when news of her father’s killing broke out. Although she hasn’t issued a statement, her Twitter posts proved explosive in nature.
Obviously distraught, Charice perhaps unwisely poured her sentiments over the social networking site. Addressing internal family squabbles, Charice went on a tweeting offensive Tuesday morning after news broke out that her estranged father, Ricky Pempengco, was stabbed dead in Laguna.

Charice's father stabbed to death


“Si Charice, hindi pa niya alam.” This is what Raquel, the international singing sensation’s mother, told abs-cbnNEWS.com in tears at the time of the report that her former husband, Ricky Pempengco, was killed in a stabbing incident that happened around 11:30pm on Oct. 31.
“Hindi ko pa talaga alam, nabigla kami,” Raquel reiterated when asked if she was going to her estranged husband’s wake.
Ricky was reportedly stabbed in A. Bonifacio Road, San Pedro, Laguna. According to abs-cbnNEWS.com, police said the stabbing incident involving Charice’s father stemmed from a drinking session.

Charice confirms having a house in the US


 Like world-famous Pinoy boxer Manny Pacquiao, Charice has her own house in the United States.
“Yes, opo. Nahihiya naman tuloy ako,” Charice was quoted as saying by abs-cbnnews.com during her live studio interview on “Bandila,” Oct. 24. This was after interviewer Boy Abunda suddenly asked her, “May bahay ka na sa America?”
But Boy didn’t stop there. He immediately followed up with, “Marami ka ng pera?” to which Charice just laughed and said “Hindi ko po alam.”

Charice out of 'Glee 3'

Gleeks will no longer see the nerdy Filipino exchange student Sunshine Corazon in the next season of “Glee.” This was confirmed by “Glee” creator Ryan Murphy, as reported by “Balitang America” on July 1.  

According to Murphy, celebrity guests will no longer be featured on the hit American musical series and that the show’s characters will be doing less singing.

If reports that Sarah Geronimo and Charice Pempengco are doing a record together are true, we are one who aurally wish for it to happen.
