Basic Art: Form and Tone
One of the exercises that my students did in my class is on developing form and tone of their drawing. This is about trying to make the shape of the objects they draw look more realistic by establishing their form in more detail. In order to do this, they also have to keep working on their drawing of outline shapes and build further on what they have already began to learn about tone.
