Phil 'very, very sure' of Angel
Less than a year after they met and started dating, popular Azkals striker Phil Younghusband is already certain that actress Angel Locsin is the right woman for him.
“Yes. Yes, I'm very, very sure... I think she's the one... Yes!” Phil was quoted as saying in an interview with PEP posted on Jan. 11.
Phil, who met Angel after he asked her via Twitter to be his date on Valentine’s Day, shared that “being with Angel is special.”
“It feels different. I feel closest to her than anyone. I feel happier that I've ever been. And I just know that I want my future to be as happy as it is now. And I know that would be with Angel,” he expounded.
Like Angel, Phil refused to put a “label” on their relationship. However, he declared, “We're in love.”
“We said that, we're in love with each other. And we communicate very well and we're very, very, very good. We're happy.
“Of course, as I've said, with two people in love, take and feel the status of our relationship is important. What we feel is important is how we feel about each other. And we're in love and happy and wanna be together,” he was quoted as saying.
More, the athlete said that he learns more about Angel as time goes by, making him realize “how bagay we are together.”
“I'm sure in 2013, we'll still find out new things about each other,” he added.
Meanwhile, Phil said they haven’t had a fight yet because they keep communication lines open.
“If we have a problem with anything, we discuss it and... We're two very honest and trusting people. And we communicate and that's how we get through things,” he said.
In another part of the PEP interview, Phil stressed, “We don't quarrel. We're very happy!”
Despite their busy schedules, Phil and Angel managed to spend Christmas and New Year together. More, the two have already planned to spend more bonding time after the actress finishes filming for her forthcoming movie, “Unofficially Yours.”
